About the Author

Michael Antonowicz

Mike Antonowicz was born and raised in the Finger Lakes region of New York State, where he graduated High School in 1974. He served five years in the US Air Force as an F-4 Radar Technician and was honorably discharged in 1980.

Following his AF service, he resided in Phoenix, Arizona, working in the electronics industry and attaining an AS in Electrical Engineering and a BA in Biblical and Cross-Cultural Studies.

In 1989, he began working in Fort Worth, Texas, on the F-16 Fighter program, and spent the next 28 years working in avionics engineering and Program Management, retiring in 2017. Mike has widely traveled and lived in Spain and Turkey for three years each. He speaks conversational Spanish and Turkish.

After months of surgeries and grueling rehab in Ramstein, Germany, Jerry returns to his childhood home in the Finger Lakes of New York state, retiring on beautiful Keuka Lake. His injuries heal, but Graze is tormented by the loss of his dear Afghani friend, Tariq. His Hazara translator and companion had not been heard from since the fall of Kabul.
